NEW RECORDS FOR THE MOSS FLORA OF IRAN
The following four species Physcomitrium pyriforme (Funariaceae), Bryum alpinum, Pohlia elongata (Bryaceae) and Fabronia pusilla (Fabroniaceae), are reported for the first time from Iran. The specimens were collected from Makhmal-kuh mountain (situated in north of Khorram-abad, Lorestan province). The voucher specimens are preserved in the Az-Zahra University herbarium, Tehran, Iran.

Following 4 species of Mosses are reported from Hezar Masjed mountains (north of Khorasan province) as new records to Iran: Pottia lanceolata, Grimmia alpicola, Bryum badium & Ovthotrichum schimperi.The descriptions, collecting localities (habitats) and distribution of each species in the world along with their figures are given.
